It's spring here at the studio, the birds are singing louder each morning (and thus waking me up earlier each day, but I can't complain!). Life is green and practically bursting at the seams.
This week we had our first dose of vitamin D (hello sunshine!) in a very long time. As the spring breeze wafted into the studio on Monday morning, I couldn't help but take a moment to create a little wood round painting inspired by wildflowers of the summer yet to come.
Speaking of spring now is a good time to align with nature and take stock of what seeds you are tending, ensuring those that need water are getting plenty. Growth happens quickly this time of year. Flowers always bloom after it rains.
I myself have some hefty goals behind the scenes of creating a collection of paintings with brand-new subject matter. It's a balancing act between the daily tasks of running a business and living an active lifestyle.
I do my best to “water” this goal each day
But for now, don't forget to stop and smell the flowers. This surely is the most glorious time of year (if you live in the northern hemisphere).
xx,
Gianna
