A Collaborative Process
Each commission begins with a conversation—an opportunity to understand your space, your story, and the feeling you want the piece to hold.
Commissions are currently closed. Applications for 2027 reopen in September 2026.

Each commission is a one-of-a-kind original, thoughtfully created to reflect your space and story.
A limited number of commissions are accepted each year.
The Process
1. RESERVE YOUR PLACE
A $500 non-refundable retainer secures your place on my calendar.
2. CONCEPT CONSULTATION
We’ll meet via video call to discuss your ideas and begin shaping the concept together. This is a collaborative conversation where I ask thoughtful questions to fully understand your vision.
3. DIGITAL RENDERING
I create a digital rendering of your piece so we’re aligned before painting begins. You’ll receive an initial draft along with two rounds of revisions. This stage allows us to refine the piece before it moves into paint.
4. DESIGN REVIEW
We’ll review any final edits together. Updated designs are delivered within 7 days. Final approval is required before moving into the painting phase.
5. COMMISSION CREATION
Once your design is approved, I begin painting your piece during your scheduled time. A progress photo will be shared prior to shipping.
Additional Details:
- Two rounds of revisions are included. Additional revisions or new concepts are billed at $200/hour.
- The artist retains copyright of all commissioned artwork and reserves the right to reproduce the work.
- Artwork may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission from the artist.
The Investment
Commissions begin at $7,000 for a 24×36” piece.
